We're rolling out Sun Ray Software 5 on SLES10 SP2 to all our users and have come across a problem when using rdesktop to a Windows 2003 server box.

When the user is away from their desk for a while the mouse focus stops working in both the rdesktop session and in the Gnome desktop. The keyboard still works okay but the user cannot get any response from clicking the mouse. Killing rdesktop session doesn't help and the only solution is for the user to kill their SunRay session and start again.

Setting the screen saver on the Windows session to never kick in helps reduce the frequency of this problem but it still persists. The rdesktop is from the supplementary software dvd but I have tried lots of other versions of rdesktop including the latest and the problem is there for all of them.

Does anyone have a solution for this problem?

Best Regards
    Andy
