Hi Guillaume, my first question would be when and how you have planned to release the source code of jopenray? Currently I can only find binaries of it on your homepage, but IMHO it would be beneficial to move development to sourceforge.net or any other open source platform. This would then allow to join your project more easily and get things going.
In addition a cooperation/merge with the "softray" project (http://softray.sourceforge.net/) would also be welcome so that a fully working and open source sunray server and client will be available more quickly. regards, jens Am 14.07.10 13:31, schrieb Guillaume Maillard: > Hi, > > As you know, we started a project named jOpenRay > aiming to provide a OS independent and OpenSource server for Sunrays, > developed in Java. > > We were in contact with Sun Microsystems just before it became > Sun/Oracle, but because our contact leaved Sun, it did go further. > > We would be pleased to receive your feedbacks, needs and interest. > > If you are in contact with an Oracle representative, your help is welcome! > > Regards, > > Guillaume Maillard > http://www.jopenray.org -- Dr. Jens Langner Ph: +49-351-2602757 Forschungszentrum Dresden-Rossendorf e.V.
