The workaround that maybe you can use, used in ubuntu, is : # chown -R root.root /home/<username-with-problems-here>/.rdesktop and just is case: # chmod -R 444 /home/<username-with-problems-here>/.rdesktop then just delete the license.<hostname> file and it work Diego Sarosh Jamal escribió: Hi all,   I recently reinstalled my WTS2008 (Standard, SP2) and activated it with per device TS CALs for use with my Sun Rays.  I use rdesktop 1.6.0 to connect to the WTS and have been doing so for the last year using the same scenario.    Since this week for some reason I haven’t been able to connect to the server from my Sun Rays as I get a “Disconnect: Internal licensing error” – I don’t think I’ve changed anything at all on the service and/or my Solaris server – I’ve connected multiple times a couple weeks ago and am utterly confused as to what could be going on?   There are no errors listed on the TS Manager or Event Viewer on the windows side (I connect from window clients, no problems).
