I'm confused as to what is a question and what is a statement. Of what I think are questions, you've asked what are impossible questions to answer.

Does Siebel CRM and Cisco CTI run on Sun Ray?

No. Nothing Runs on Sun Ray.

Does it run on the Sun Ray Server? Well Siebel can in Low Interactive Framework (LIF), but requires IE and ActiveX for Hi Interactive framework (SHIF). Cisco CTI is windows only. The real question is can you run those on terminal server. I short the answer is yes for both, but you'll need to do so on either a Windows Terminal Server (but there's not a lot of how to guides for that) or via VDI.

For Siebel, one needs power user rights or better to install the SHIF. Talk to your Siebel administrator and get the url for predeploy.htm. You'll need to visit this url as the administrator, with the website being a trusted site, and the security of the trusted sites must be set to low. To make this effective, you need to do this via a GPO.

You final question is No, Yes, No, Yes. Again, it sounds like you need to display things through either Windows Terminal Server or via virtual machines running a Windows Operating System via VDI.

We use OneBadge, which to the SRS looks like type "Oberthur". I got it
to work with both W2K3 and W2K8 through many trials and tribulations and
much sackcloth and ashes and not inconsiderable help from some on this
    list.

I am working on a pilot project to supply my users with a single card
    for
Sun Ray + physical access. We don't have control over the choice of
technologies used for physical access here at the university, and our
Center is spread across several floors and buildings. This means we
    have
both proximity and magstripe systems in use. I have been researching
    this
for awhile and came across a previous thread back in 2007 that touched
    on
this topic, but I'm wondering if others on the list have faced the same
problem and what solutions they are using.

It seems the best and perhaps only card that would meet our needs is the

HID Smart DuoProx II. Their website still claims that a contact smart
chip can be embedded as an option but they no longer list them in their
order guide. When I contacted HID by phone they said they no longer
    offer
embedded chips on those cards. They are instead pushing the Crescendo
    C200 and C700 (http://www.hidcrescendo.com/).

So far I've found no mention of anyone using the Crescendo cards with
    Sun
Rays but it looks like they could work. Anyone using these or have
    other
    suggestions?

    Thanks.

    Hi all,
I wanted to clarify a bit on the post here - the directory of smart
    card config
files that are in /etc/opt/SUNWut/smartcard are ones that are
    installed as part of
the Sun Ray software install, and that directory may also contain
    other smart card
config files written by other than Sun/Oracle (i.e. some folks will
    write their own
config file and deposit it in that directory). Also, if you are in a
    FOG environment,
a lot of admins will enable LDAP (SunDS) storage of the smart card
    config files
so that whatever files are in LDAP are the ones that will be used by
    the Auth Manager,
rather than the files that are in the /etc/opt/SUNWut/smartcard
    directory.
