Run your VM in VirtualBox and use vRDP as the connection protocol. The Windows instance is totally unaware that is being remotely accessed as vRDP connects at the hypervisor layer. The content is transcoded to M-JPEG and sent directly to the DTU. Should work nicely, accelerated content is currently limited to 1024x768, so don't try full screen. ;)
