Art, To get my Oberthur cards to work I had to get an interim fix [IDR] from Sun; I'm assuming that fix was rolled into future releases but I never went back to verify that. Also, I was doing my testing on a 4.1 install. I got it to work on both W2K3/32-bit & W2K8/R1. I also remember having to apply a couple of patches on the ActivIdentity smart card reader SW on the Windows box.

The card error can come from the firmware not being able to read the cards, or SRS doesn't have a config file for the cards. What does the log say?
