Art,

   To get my Oberthur cards to work I had to get an interim fix [IDR] from Sun;
I'm assuming that fix was rolled into future releases but I never went back to
verify that. Also, I was doing my testing on a 4.1 install. I got it to work
on both W2K3/32-bit & W2K8/R1. I also remember having to apply a couple of
patches on the ActivIdentity smart card reader SW on the Windows box.

If you want, I can dig up my somewhat disjointed notes on the saga.

v5.5 Dual

Art,

If you have 5.1.2 installed, then your devices are down-rev on firmware, they
should be at -07.

The card error can come from the firmware not being able to read the cards, or
SRS doesn't have a config file for the cards.

What does the log say? Anything about the insert and trying to figure out the
card?

I'm having this issue at the US Army. I have SRS 5.1.2 installed; all DTUs are
running firmware GUI4.2_140993-06_2010.10.08.21.53.

Are there any other patches/packages/settings that need attention to get this
card working??
