nice list but I'd like to add that you can get around the
Firewire/digital video device requirement!
You need to have Quicktime Pro. You export your mpg, avi, movie etc
file to DV (Digital Video) then move the file to the iMovie folder
and just like magic it shows up and you can edit it! Toast 5 comes
with an imovie plug in which then lets you export your edited file to
Toast and you can burn it as a VCD ! Will S
PS iMovie is great and is free to OSX users!!!
