Like several other people on the list, I just got one of the s900s
from kylink. Yesterday I successfully moved the scsi harddrive with
os 9.1 from my c600 into it and it's running perfectly, much faster
than my trusty c600.
I also want to reinitialize the hard drive that came with the s900
with apple drivers, but the harddrive updater on the os9 CD won't
initialize it because it's "an unsupported drive." The drive is a 4
GB western digital enterprise 4360, scsi 3 (WDE4360). Is there
something I'm missing? A firmware update or something?
s900
225 Mhz 604e
128 Megs Ram
24 x cdrom
4GB IBM scsi 2 (with os 9.1)
4GB WD scsi 3
pci card #1: voodoo3 2000
pci card #2: usb card
Thanks
