I just re-read old notes from Will. He says I don't need an Apple drive
to install OS X. Will, you out there? True?

By the way, I recall someone asking here recently whether they could use
an IDE CD-ROM drive in tandem with their IDE hard drive through a Sonnet
Tempo card. I didn't see an answer, though. I have both of the other
items; are there any functional limitations if I go to an IDE CD-ROM
drive?

P.S. For those kind enough to inquire, the reason I said "no burner" was
because I already have one; I just don't want to wear it out from
routine playback use.
