I am guessing many people here have heard enough about the ATI cards. I 
don't feel the subject is off topic. It is after all a card that can be 
used in our UMAX machines! However I didn't ever think I would see talk 
about Dos commands here at this list ;-) I think more then a mention of 
this would be off topic. While I'm sure some people would and will find 
your info of help I doubt it is of general interest. Perhaps if and 
when you have your detailed info you could offer to email it to 
interested members. I'm sure I will hear if I am wrong about this ;-)
I can promise you the guy who pushed me over the edge won't be able to 
follow your guide no matter how well written! If I can help you with 
info on Flashing an ATI card please email me . In fact I will try to 
answer your other post off list.
By the way Apples's "Text edit" in OSX reads .rtf files. There is 
likely an OS 9 app that is free that also reads them but can't think of 
one now. Will S
