Help! I'm trying to load OS9.1 onto a Hitachi(Deskstar)41.1GB drive via a Sonnet ATA66
card. I had problems loading OS9.1 using my 40X Plextor with hacked CD drivers on SCSI
drives, but it loaded OK from an old 2X Apple CD. I can initialize the ATA drive from
either CD, but the install hangs about half way thru. I then tried to do a clean
instal over whats on the drive and it freezedbefore the instal begins. Is this an
IBM/Hitachi Deskstar problem? They replaced the first drive for the same problem, and
now I can't get the second to load either. Can I just drag a system folder from a SCSI
drive to the partition on the ATA drive? Thanks, Paul Corsa
