Can a logic board from a 9600 fit and work in a S900? I can not get my S900 DP to boot, no matter what! Tried everything in the book, so maybe a logic board swap is in order.
The short answer is that it may well be more trouble then it's worth. The Umax like the Power Computing clones use a PC case rather then a Mac formate case. So the holes in the motherboard aren't likely to line up. PCI slots and other outs on the back of the case won't line up and you will need either a Mac Power supply or the wire connectors from a Mac which you would have to splice with the power supply in the UMAX. Umax logic boards do show up on ebay. What makes you so sure you need a new motherboard? Will S
