Sorry if this reply is redundant. Did you install a driver for the card/s? I have installed cards in both a PowerMac G4 (I was one of those who lost their built-in ethernet last week when I upgraded to 10.2.8) and my C-600, and had to install a driver both times.

What ethernet cards are compatible with the C500? Someone put an Asante card in this machine, but "Ethernet" doesn't show up in the TCP/IP control panel, just "MacIP"
