Gary, Rob and JEFF. The one I'm looking at has 1 PPC G4 1.25GH, 1mg L3, Processor 1 mb, 256 Ram, Storage Controler IDE (DMA/ATA-100 ultra), 80 GB DMA/ATA.. HD, 1 CD-RW/DVD-ROM combo, AGP 4x - ATI Radeon 9000 Pro- 64mb, Fax/modem-integrated, Ethernet etc., (can us my DSL connection). I need the OS9 to work on my Floppies etc. and get them moved to X. I presume I can network the 900 to the G4 and use 9 to transfer. Also perhaps I can now get the 120G ATA HD to be of some use as a slave.
Jim: After my problems trying to add to my UMAX s900, I want something that is all there. The only things I really got working was the G3 upgrade an additional IBM 17G HD, 250 SCSI Zip. -------------------------------------------------------- I have moved my firewire card back to slot 2 to try and use the CD-RW. Someone told me mos ago that their's would only work there-turned it on today and the Plexwriter couldn't find it-again. Have it plugged into the first plug on the left side.
