Also, of all of you that have a web page up & running, Could someone tell me the Best way to get a commercial web site listed in the major search engines & that won't break the bank?
Note: Getting it all right can be time consuming, and may include tweaking your code a fair bit.
1) set it up correctly.
This includes:
* specifying the DOCTYPE at the beginning of the page

* including META KEYWORD and DESCRIPTION tags

* running the whole thing through a validation process

2) Once your code is clean, run on over to http://www.selfpromotion.com . There's a ton of good (if somewhat wordy) information there about how search engines work, what they look for, what they reject. And best of all, there's a FREE, unrestricted submission routine that you can use for a month.
