Pastor Mac, thanks for info. Alan, my setup uses a cable modem which has nothing to do 
with the phone. When I want to fax in OS 9, I just use the option key with command P 
and instead of printing it opens the fax app. I do not have to change the TC/IP 
settings. Alternitively, you could go to your chooser and select the fax icon. Your 
DSL setup should not be affected, as it isn't when you use your phone for voice. I 
could be wrong but it's worth a try.
