I bought a FW/USB card at CompUSA last year, but I haven't needed to try the FW ports yet.
Also, is there a quick list of what does/doesn't work in the c600's slots? I had saved a lot of messages from this list pertaining to that, but my computer is in storage during a move.
The C600 does not have the "slot issues" that the S900 has, but then, it does not have as many slots.
I am only aware of one C600 PCI card issue, and that is you can not add a USB or USB/Firewire PCI card if you also have a CacheDoubler card installed.
If you have installed your CompUSA FW/USB card and the USB side is working, you should not have any problems with the firewire side either.
