Richard-

Are you getting machine #1 to show up in the chooser on machine 2 and when you click 
and put in the PW you're then getting error message? If that's the case check your 
password on # 2 or its name. Or check the name of machine #1. Also-- if the name of 
machine 1 is not showing up in the chooser them look below the right hand box in the 
chooser -- you have an oblong button "server IP address" You can check the server 
address by going to machine 1, into the Network pref panel, go to TCO/IP pane (make 
sure you are using DHCP), see if the IP Address is there, which would be provided by 
DHCP Server. The address would look like: 192.168.0.100. Go back to machine 2 chooser, 
hit the button and enter the address, hit connect. See if that helps.
