Hi all. Here's the update. X is running again, however, maybe not 100%
stable. I de-interleaved the ram and change the dip settings to the XLR8
MAChCarrier. The G4 has been running at a speed of 405mhz at 45 mhz bus. I
was aiming at 450 mhz at 45 mhz bus, but maybe the chart provided is
incorrect. So far the only issue I can find at the moment is the
Daystar/XLR8 Speed Control for X software. It causes verbose to appear atop
the current screen image. Other than that, all other apps have been running
fine. Only other detail to my set up is the upgrade to a 12x Apple cd-rom to
replace the previous Apple 600i which was probably 4x. The next in the plan
is getting the appropriate dip settings for the desired speed.
