[SM] Adaptec 2940 SCSI PC version in Mac

Has anyone here successfully flashed an Adaptec 2940UW PC SCSI card to work 
in a Mac?   Basically, it's the same process used to flash the PC Radeon 
7000 to a Mac version - you use a PC to flash the ROM on the card with the 
Mac code.

I've followed the directions and have all the flashing utilities, but I 
can't get the Mac ROM image resource from the Mac flashing utility.   You're 
supposed to be able to extract it using ResEdit, and I can *see* it OK, but 
how do you "extract" it to a separate file?

What I need to know is how do you extract a resource from one file into a 
new file?
