What will I lose if I take my FWB Jackhammer card out
of the UMAX to use in a G4? Bill
Is this a Jackhammer card or the UMAX E100 card made by Jackhammer ?
The Umax E100 has fast Ethernet along with the SCSI adapter. The Ethernet function requires the extra long PCI slot only found at PCI slot 1 (A) on the Umax S900 & 700 machines. The SCSI portion of the card will work fine in other PCI slots and other machines but only in OS 9 and older. No OSX use of this card nor the Jackhammer which would also work fine in a G4 under OS 9 or older.(not sure what the oldest OS a G4 machine will run) Will S
