I just checked at Newegg and all I could find was the Powercolor PCI 32 mb version for $45.00 the 64 mb card seem to be gone along with the Sapphire and ATI cards!
They may have updated in the last half a day, because my search this afternoon on Radeon 7000 turned up ten items including the 64 MB DDR, PCI, three output card which Dan listed.
My only questions are, has someone actually flashed a PowerColor card successfully? And does the card definitely support dual monitors? While I would be surprised if it did not, it occurs to me that these cards could be built like the Twin Turbo retail card wtih multiple ports that can only be used one at a time.
Now to decide whether I need another card....And to try to remember where I got the DVI to VGA adapters for $8.
I did a little more searching and had this still queued and unsent so I'll add a bit. Newegg is asking $58 but has free shipping. I visited PowerColor's website at <http://www.power-color.com> and they list other sellers on a "Where to Buy" page. For example <http://www.bananapc.com/Products/default.asp?classif_id=1114&classif_type=1> has the card for $55.20 but shipping will cost you $10 to $25 (for two cards) depending on method. However, if you're buying several cards, it might get the cost under Newegg's. Then again, maybe not. Entering quantity 10, UPS ground still works out to about $2.50 per card, which is only about $.10 per card less than Newegg's price.
Plus, I can't easily tell from BananaPC's site if it is in stock..
Hmmm. Here <http://www.accupc.com/search_result_k.jsp?keyword=radeon+7000&x=11&y=9> it is $53.50 with $4 shipping, which is $.50 less than Newegg. But I've ordered from Newegg before and not accupc, so it might be worth $.50 to stick with Newegg. Shipping stays $4 each with increasing quantities. I'll leave the rest of the sellers as an exercise for the reader.
To buy or not to buy. What do I really need mroe than two of the cards for...
