Hi there: My 11-year-old is lobbying Santa's financial backer for a copy of a game called Stronghold, made by MacSoft. I'm not certain if I can make it work, though. Here are the system requirements:
Mac OS 8.6 or higher G3 350MHz or faster computer 128MB RAM Rage 128 or better video card 750MB free hard drive space CD-ROM drive And here is what I have: C500, original CD & HD drives 144mb 8.6 G3/350 but it's the Mactell one; the Powerjolt control panel shows 280 I think I can squeeze 750MB out of either the HD or the external APS SCSI drive I have, which is listed as 750MB. I have no idea about the video, it's whatever came with the thing. Will this work or do I have to be the Grinch with him? Sorry to be so dense...hardware isn't really my bag. -- Bill Spencer in potentially (but not yet) very snowy NH The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing. -- Edmund Burke -- SuperMacs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
