I've sent enough bug reports to Netscape to make anteaters the dominant species on the planet.
The best ones are: The random permanent screen blackouts Why isn't my keyboard working? Wait till your mail starts disappearing due to some mysterious memory leak.
Netscape never addressed these issues in version 6 and did a major rewrite for version 7
The Netscape 7 series engine is still a pig on memory but is vastly more stable with more features.
If you want to run Netscape choose Communicator 4.78 or 4.8 Netscape 7.02 Avoid all mac Nutscape 6 versions
btw Microsoft Explorer 5.1.7 works great too.
Now The FIX for 6
If you are still running OS 9
Patch it with Netscape 7.01 or 7.02
7.02 is the last version to run on OS 9 ( Find it in the Netscape download archives )
Trash Nutscrape 6
