Hi list-

Is it too soon to know if XpostFacto works with 10.3.4, and if it does is anyone running 10.3.4 yet? I installed it this A.M. on a supported machine and it seems to be running better than 10.3.3. Of course I may come upon a nightmare tomorrow (or later).

I would like to see if it improves some of the 10.3.3 induced situations on my S900 such as some application quits and high processor use. Despite these occasional problems Panther is the best so far for me.

I've not yet installed the update. Since no one else has replied I thought I'd tell you what I know about it.
First off 10.3.3 runs flawlessly on my Umax J700/S900 machine. So it's hard to tell if 10.3.3 is the problem on your machine or something else. Have you ran disk permissions and fixed any errors? Also pesky hard to find RAM issues can be very hard to trouble shoot. Disk Warrior can also fix many issues that other utilities seem to miss.
macfixit.com says there have been far fewer problems with this update then most in fact very few reported issues so far. xlr8yourmac.com also shows mostly good news. The XPostFacto forums show that many people are having no issues at all with the upgrade and others not so lucky. Our old machines seem to do much better upgrading with the combo updater which needs to be downloaded rather then using the software updater control panel. Also if things don't go well a second install and fixing disk permissions with the Apple disk utilities in OSX usually works. Will S
