Both drives use the Apple CD/DVD driver? Have you tried just the Matsushita CD with the other CD unplugged?This should tell you if it works. Otherwise is sure sounds like an extension conflict. What OS are you running? You might also check the compatability lists aat OWC- readers post what items just won't play well together- some don't. Paul C

Thanks Paul. You are correct. The card does have 2 cables. I use each cable
for each CD-ROM.


I did move the jumper on the Matsushita to master, but the same problem
still persists after restart. Now the system doesn't read either CD-ROM and
the Matsushita's light stays on. It did not even blink at start-up.
