My S-900 arrived yesterday and I noticed that the video card is not the usual Twin Turbo card. It has only a Mac video out on it (it came with a converter for SVGA) and is labelled "Imagine 128 Number Nine.
Does anybody know anything about this. Is it preferable to the Twin Turbo 128/M2 Revision 3.7 that's in my J-700? Thanking you in advance.

Scott, I'd not even hear of this card or if I had I'd forgotten about them. It took some digging. "Number Nine" which made this card went out of business in Dec of 1999. iXmicro maker of the Twin Turbo and Ultima Rez cards went out of business in Spring of 2000 . It (iXmicro) however was much more common on Macs so most people know about it. here you can find a review of the Imagine 128 versus The Twin Turbo cards! The Imagine wins in nearly every category !. I'm guessing it was more expensive.

scroll down the list tell you find it.

It took a lot of looking but drivers for this card are located @ the original website for Number nine. The company has been kind enough to keep it up all these years!

There is a drivers and forum site here. Someone asked about OSX drivers but no one has answered :-(
You will find the correct drivers listed under Mac on the driver page. The name for the correct drivers for your card are
Hawkeye v 4.50 There are also v 5.1.0 and 5.6.1. I don't know if these are for different Mac cards or newer versions for your card. Best get them all and soon as who knows how long the site will be up for a company closed for 5 years!
best of luck Will S
