I too have just bought more memory to max out my
machine. I run 9.1 off a ATA hard drive. The first
time i booted, it froze and a warning came up. I reset
the CUDA, made sure the sticks were in place firmly
and since then, it's been working flawlessly. Even
though I turned off the memory check, it takes about
1-2 minutes for the machine to start after i turn it
on. with that i mean, it looks like it's not running
for the 1 minute, but then the monitors flicker on and
i'm running. I have no idea for the stall, but I can
live with it.
