Jack, the real way to do this is with the
Dayna/Asante/farallon bridges. Adding one of these
makes your printer a stand alone device on a network.
It sounds to me like you're trying to do a printer
share which would require both computers to be on
continuously and use CPU time on both as well.
Whichever method you choose, it won't work with your
wireless devices.
The problem is that anything you try that goes thru
the wireless side of your Linksys isn't going to work
because that router doesn't "do" AppleTalk. I know
Airports do, but I don't know about others. You can
read about this problem at the link in my other post
to Asante's support site.
The bottom line is that you can print from any
computer on the network that's wired to the network,
but not from one using a wireless connection,
regardless of whether your intent is to share the
printer or have it be a stand alone network device.
It's your router that's the problem.
