Hi, Thanks everyone for all your tips and suggestions on how to restore the video to my S900. I had tried just about everything suggested including switching back to the original processor and leaving the PRAM battery out overnight, although I hadn't done them both together which I tried last night to no avail. Also pulled all the cards I had added before I tried this to recreate the basic configuration.
Here's one thing that might give a clue to someone. When I try to zap the PRAM (option-command-P-R), it seems to have no effect. The chimes do not repeat. They play once, I hear some brief activity in the SCSI drive, the CD-ROM lights up for awhile as it tries to read the Mac Install CD inside and I can't tell if the floppy is running or not. I've tried a start-up disk in there too. Elliot -- SuperMacs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
