I know its very late in the game, but does anyone have any advice in getting
OSX to cooperate with both the Ultimate Rez and the NewerTech G3 500
upgrade? I finally realize that I am starting to lose out with OS 9. I
didn't realize it until I "messed" with my kids' OSX machines. Thanks!!

I'm not familiar with the iTunes Visual, but if you need to get the output of your computer display to your TV, you may want to consider a Radeon 7000 video card. They're often available for $30 - $40 and they have an S-video output, which will probably plug into your TV without any difficulty. Plus the R7000 is supported in OSX, so it eliminates that hassle.

I have not actually plugged one into my TV, so it's conceivable that there is some issue there, but I haven't heard of any. There's that nice S-Video output on the R7000 and most TVs accept that input, so it should work.

You're probably already using a top (upper 2) PCI slot for the Ult. Rez. so that wouldn't change, and you can have dual output from the R7000, so you can still drive your monitor without filling an additional PCI slot.

A great many R7000s intended for the PC have been converted to use on the Mac, but some of the PC versions only have a VGA output and no S-Video. So make sure you get one with three outputs (VGA, DVI & S-Video). There's nothing wrong with the conversions functionally, it's just that some of the converted cards lack the additional outputs.
