Pardoné the off topic, but I wanted to pick the brains of this vast reservoir of experience on this list.
My S900 is fine, however, I'm in the market for a used G4 powerbook to use downstairs on the wireless router. Regarding the eventual price drop of the current powerbook G4's: How long will it take for the effect of the announcement of the 4X faster new powerbook to actually lower prices of the ones out there, and how much do you think they will go down? The new intel dual powerbook is supposed to be $1900 new. Should I wait for the prices of the used G4 powerbooks to drop? Or will it take so long it doesn't matter anyway? Any opinions?
