One thing to remember about tools like this is that s6 is very precise with it's implemenation of TAI64N - it uses leap seconds.For the case of follow-log-directories, note that it does not decode the timestamps into times. As long as they follow the simple (and obvious) constraints in its manual, the tool is happy.
