The session at OSCON 2008, "Supervisor as a Platform" will be on Thursday, July 24th. It's on the System Administration track. There are a few open items that should probably get addressed before the next release such as the bug where log messages are ignored during process shutdown and finishing the tests for the supervisorctl plugin system. We have been sitting on the alpha releases for quite some time without many issues. It might make sense to just prioritize the remaining issues preventing the stable release and get it out before we turn to more enhancements such as config reloading or the GSoC work. It would be nice to get the stable release behind us before OSCON.
