I believe I know the answer to this question but I'll ask it anyway to be
sure. We user supervisord to launch and monitor a set of processes. In some
cases, we have processes that are dependent on other processes, and would
like to have a process be automatically killed if its dependent process
dies unexpectedly. There doesn't seem to be anyway to set this up in
supervisor. The best alternative I can think of is to use the event
mechanism and have a process subscribe to the events associated with its
dependent processes.
