Hi,
I'm trying to get the Elphel Software setup so I can examine the FPGA project. I'm running Ubuntu 12.04 on a VMWare Virtual and I'm unable to install KDevelop 3.5, (I can Kdevelop 4). In all my wiki reading I noticed that it says that Elphel isn't compatible with KDevelop 4. I'm a Windows person dipping my toe into linux waters so please forgive me and understand I may need more explicit help. When following the Elphel instructions to the letter for Ubuntu 11.04 (which are just the 9.1 instructions); since it is the latest Ubuntu mentioned in the wiki. I've been digging on the KDevelop site trying to find old installers but I have come up with nothing. Is anyone able to help me please? Thanks in advance to all. Below is the console print when I enter the command that fails. adam@ubuntu:~$ sudo apt-get install kdevelop-kde3 kdevelop-kde3-doc [sudo] password for adam: Reading package lists... This may mean that you have requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable distribution that some required packages have not yet been created or been moved out of Incoming.
