There are many ways to do this, but the easiest I've found so far is Synback: http://www.2brightsparks.com/
I personally use an older version which was free ... but this program is a lifesaver when it comes to synchronize multiple data files between various machines. Takes a little while to master, but definitely worth the time and the money.
