For those of you that are testing Ubuntu Karmic Beta (9.10) 32bit & have trouble getting Sun Java to work w/SeaMonkey 2.0, I've found the following works for me:
$ sudo apt-get install sun-java6-jre sun-java6-plugin $ cd ~/.mozilla $ sudo ln -s /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins ~/.mozilla/plugins $ cd /user/lib/mozilla/plugins $ sudo ln -s /usr/lib/jvm/java-6-sun/jre/lib/i386/libnpjp2.so Restart SM 2.0 and you should then see Java(TM) Plug-in 1.6.0_15 Filename: libnpjp2.so The next generation java plug-in for Mozilla browser You can test at http://java.com and select the 'Do I have Java' link. _______________________________________________ support-seamonkey mailing list support-seamonkey@lists.mozilla.org https://lists.mozilla.org/listinfo/support-seamonkey
