There is a migration assistant, which should migrate your settings on
the first start. If you tried SM 2.x before this release, and cancelled
the migration dialog, you may drop your old SM 2.x profiles first, to
trigger the migration:
# rm -r $HOME/.mozilla/seamonkey
Start SeaMonkey after doing this and it will ask you, if you want to
migrate your settings.
