Good day

one of my email accounts is being hit by over 20 emails daily with ? marks of different length in subject and sender field. if I save one as text it is blank, so I set up a filter up to send all to trash by setting from value a a single '?' but nothing gets filtered out

I'll take a wild guess that if you save the message and look at the actual data, that either an odd character set is being used, or one with a high bit set. In any case, it uses "?" to note a character it can't display.

A filter option for character sets other than a few user provided defaults would be useful. Running Linux I can do that filtering upstream of the user agent, so I just see it as a crap count in rejects.
