We have the same problem. I believe ours is caused by the interaction with our LDAP servers. I had to uninstall version 2.01 and reinstall the old 2.0 version. It has happened with several people on our site. Putting SeaMonkey back to level 2.0 has solved the problem each time. We do not want to shut off the LDAP address books.
