On my icewm i have a little window in the taskbar which monitors the CPU-Load. It was easy to see the high load in the intervalls when new postings were automatically fetched. After the checkin of the aforementioned patch. *g* Since removing my previous '[x] Don't delete any messages' this hasn't occurred anymore.
