I let the page reload several times. It might be the result of a JavaScript changing large images on the page. I've seen this effect before, with image files that have fewer bytes. In this case, the script might be timing-out before the image can load through my dial-up connection. Further, the script could be poorly designed in a way that causes the entire page to refresh.
