I am currently subscribed to three accounts (established when I
purchased my computer). I would like to subscribe to others such groups
like genealogy, bird watching, traveling, etc, I don't know how to
access a complete listing of all possible groups that one can subscribe to.
When I click File (on the SeaMonkey Mail page)>open Subscribe--I can
only see the three Accounts that are currently subscribed to on my
system. Should I be able to (somehow) access the complete listing from
this window?
Is there some place on the web that will help me with this subject?
Also, I think I will have to establish a new entry in the Mail &
Newsgroups Account Settings for each group I subscribe to--is that correct?
I know that the answers to my questions are located someplace on the
Internet--but where?
Thanks for any information sent my way on this subject.

Well, I have learned a lot from this exchange.
I now understand why my news.verizon.net account is no longer working.
QUESTION-Should I delete this account from my system? I think the
answer is yes...as clicking this account only takes me to a time out
message.
I have printed all of the nessages in this thread, and I will spend much
time on the Internet learning more about this subject. I currently have
a number of questions floating around in my head having to do with
accessing a free account...passwords...do I establish an account in
SeaMonkey to access a free server...if so, how does the password fit
into this process...etc. I guess all of this will become clear as I
pursue your suggestions.
Thanks to everybody for being so understanding and helpful to me. I
sometimes feel as if I am on a deserted island when I run into a
computer question or problem. Then, I remember the help I can get from
individuals on this or the Microsoft XP newsgroup.
Thanks to all,
Frog
