I have been phished two times. Is there a way to stop this from

Pat,

Just as bts suggested, be as limited as you can when using various websites, etc, especially Facebook since it has already been discovered to be a hub for scam artists and the like. Myspace is another breeding ground as well.

Also, as bts suggested, try using at least 2 email addresses, one for your important uses such as banking, etc, and another for blogs, forums and the like. That way, if someone gets your email address from a blog or something similar, it won't completely disrupt your more important email address attached to important accounts, etc.

Hope this convinces you to change your way of using email addresses. :)

Glen
