Wild guess. Bad graphics card driver. It might be worthwhile to check if
there is a newer driver for your card.

It's a Macbook - so it's a built in GPU. Software Update says I've got
the latest, and none of my other apps are acting up.
Also - this is just *this* cluster of crashes...the others are all
different. So I'm still clueless...
