Have you tried the AdBlock Plus extension? It's at
<http://adblockplus.org/en/>. I use it, but I haven't yet tried to
block Google analytics.
I had not thought to block them outright as I'd guess the site
may not load, but to interrupt them ... I will have to try the
block and see what happens ...
