We also desperately need people with other skills.

1. Q/A. Before we push out a new release we need people to stress test
candidates. We are very short of people on Mac OSX.
I am on Linux; wouldn't touch Jobs' ecosystem with a barge pole :) But
Linux can always be worked out :)
2. Help documentation. We need more people to help update the in
application help (Help->Help Contents) or F1.

Thats the easiest thing to do; let me get rid of my exams and this is
the first thing to do :)
3. Webpage coding skills. Our website could do with some updating both
in terms of content and in terms of design.

To my very limited knowledge, if there is a backend CMS, wouldn't it be
easy to apply a new template :) No jokes apart, let me see if I could
ask few of my buddies to help me on this.
4. I'm not going to include bug triage because it's soul destroying work
and a sure fire way of getting people to run away screaming in terror.
(However if you are a soulless demon...)
If I am strongly committed to Open Source, trust me it's not difficult
provided there is a clear cut case of how to do it. But more on that
later; I'd email you for guidance.
5. Hang around support forums (well like here for example) and answer
cries for help from bewildered users.
Yes! Newsgroups is the way forward though. I am using the news server;
it's very easy to subscribe and unsubscribe. Would try my level best (to
best of my ability and very limited understanding).
6. Hold Tupperware parties and ... uh perhaps not that.
Hmm... In India it doesn't happen :( But it's a damned good idea. I
seriously hope that it is polished up and would try and create some
interest. I also blog and trying to get a toehold in major newspapers to
write for them. But "good talent" is often "not recognized" :( (Just
kidding).
