Running SM 2.0.14 here and doing about:plugins in the URL window shows:

Adobe Acrobat

    File name: nppdf32.dll
    Adobe PDF Plug-In For Firefox and Netscape 10.0.1

You can try to uninstall your reader by removing the nppdf32.dll file
and re-installing Adobe Reader.
