Folks that have been on thes groups for a long time seem to forget others just joining, or not running across a particular acromym, might get confused at the various unknowns from time to time.

In Writing 101, it was stressed that the first time you used an acronym in a correspondence, you spelled it out. From then on, you could use the shortened version at will.

The person who recently asked "What is a NG" had a perfectly valid question, and it seems to me everybody pretty much ignored it.

The Subject line says it all. That IS the answer.
